HISTORY OF THE BUSINESS.

For decades Marcel de Claremont Rug gallery has played an instrumental role in assisting both interior designers as well as renowned home developers with his highest quality of rugs and exceptional customer service.
Creating UpToDate new patterns in both modern as well as traditional rugs, Marcel decorate many well-known homes such as Frank Sinatra which was well published in Palm Springs life magazine in 1999.
Appreciation from the people of New York.
For the first time in the history of America to honor the memory of 911,
Marcel with the help of his weavers overseas managed to weave the first hand knotted 12 x 18 American flag which was presented to the City of Palm Springs and there after sent to mayor Bloomberg and the people of New York.

Contribution to the society
​
In return to the society, Marcel served on the board of directors of Palm Springs chamber of commerce. In this position he took time by going to the schools and motivate the youth of America with the slogan that “nothing is impossible to achieve in this world”.
Furthermore for two consecutive years Marcel served as celebrity waiter along with chief of Police and few other top calibers in the community to raise funds for Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
